For Creatives

Something I don’t see talked about enough
for creative people who dont currently make a living doing whatever it is that they do is how well suited they are for the trades.

Tradework pays well enough.
(Above minimum wage to start)

It requires attention to detail.
(Artists already have this)

It gets you active.
(No need for the gym)

It involves making something exist that didn’t before.
(It scratches that itch)

It’s ideal for introverts.
(You are mostly just working with your hands)

You don’t need trade school.
(The grift of this generation)

Go to a staffing agency.
(They do all the placement for you)

Look up nearby shops by whatever trade you are interested in.
Just show up.
They don’t care about your resume.
They are desperate for help.

Just show up and ask for a job.
Give the tiniest of shits.
(You already do)
